A/V Science Forum -- Probably the number one resource for "general" home theater. Very comprehensive.

DIYAudio Forum -- Very good forum for information on DIY loudspeakers, amplifiers, projectors, etc.

 

Loudspeaker Designs:

Humble Homemade HiFi -- Lots of VERY good designs and the designer is a very nice guy.

Speakerbuilder.net -- Again, several very good designs.
